GALS CAMP!!!!

a few days ago i got back from girls camp. it was so much fun and spiritual.

karaoke!

i let karly sleep in my bunk because she wasnt feeling good and the ycl cabin is really crowded. so i slept with andie in her bed the first night. the next night i was going to sleep in taunas bunk with her until we hung up these glowsticks and moths swarmed, so we decided to sleep on the floor. the last night me and lindsay slept in my bunk. every night i stayed up until at least two and every night me, andie and tuana were the last one to go to bed (usually like and hour or two after everyone else.) everyone had to get up at 730 every morning so i didnt get much sleep, but it was worth it.

all of the second years went on a hike and at the the end was alittle lake to go canoeing and kayaking. me and gillian went kayaking together. it was so much fun, but we kept on getting wet from the paddles.

on the last day i got to go rock climbing and do the zipline. the rock climbing was hard for me (even though i am usually really good at rock climbing, you should of seen me in AZ) because i did a wall that slants, so you need upper arm strength. i dont have that much because of my shoulder. i still made it to the top though.

next i did the zip line. above i am getting all of the gear on. below im climbing up th pole to get to the top of the zipline.

i was so nervous my first time because you have to just jump off the platform and it was so high. i didnt even think about it. the second time i went i wasnt scared at all. it was really fun.

all my friends went on the zipline too. below is tauna making a wierd face. it made me laugh so hard.

we had to wait in line forever so we took lots of pictures. this is sierra and her friend analyse (my friend too) and andie.

i love this picture!i got a lot of notes at camp. it was really fun going through them all and reading them.

my favorite part of camp was the last night when we had testimony meeting.that was a moment i will never forget. before the ward testiomony meeting all the girls got letters from their dad. my dads made me cry. i dont really know why. i guess i just missed him. during the meeting everyone in the whole room was crying including me. at least i didnt cry during my testimony i just cryed before and after. it was a really good experience for me.
my other favorite part of girls camp was coming home. it was nice to see seth,my mom, and dad again. i slept the whole way from camp, then took several naps at home. the next morning i slept i til 1100. a new personal record! i guess i caught up on all the sleep i missed out on.
wow this is a long post. its been like an hour since i started it. but girls camp was worth it. i cant wait for it next year!

CAMERA!!!

yay! i fixed my camera yeterday! i was so worried i wouldnt be able to take pikcs at girls camp. but its all good now. i lost my charging cord so my camera was completely dead. then i accidently took the battery out and then i couldnt get the compartment to open again,but i managed to pry it open. then i found the cord. im so happy now. i took some random pics to celebrate.

DRAMA!!!! and NO SCHOOL!!!!

im am so so so so so so so so so happy right now. today i found out that i made advanced drama for next year! i was so nervous at the tryout because you have to act and sing (sing!)in front of everyone. there were probably like 70 kids there. scariest moment of my life! i was running around the house screaming when i found out. there were 120 kids who tried out and only 40 made it. i didnt even think i could make it, but im so happy i did.

another reason to be happy is its the last day of school! well it was the last day of school. kinda still is. in a way. well anyways this week was so much fun. monday we had extreme games where we spent half the day on the field with all of these jolly jump things (like slide obstical courses etc). then me and my three best friends spent the rest of the day in the library and helped repair textbooks and put them away. fun fun! tuesday we again spent most of the day in the library. then wednesday and thursday i spent at home sick. not so fun. more like boring. then today i didnt even have to bring a backpack and i spent more time in the library (the librarians love us. they even gave us popsicles!). then the last hour we spent wandering around the school asking teachers if they needed help. it was pretty fun cuz the teachers didnt really need help so we just walked around. tonite my mom sierra and i are going to dinner and then to the movies. summer is finally here!! even though its cloudy. i have girls camp next week and im so excited. i just hope we can fix my camera so i can take pictures.

bball championship

remember the school basketball team i was on and had to quit because of my shoulder? well they won championships. yeah thats right. they one it all. what a bummer. they also got huge trophies. all of them. another bummer. i heard they won like 45 to 29 or something like that. either way they won by a lot. i wish i was still on the team not only because we proboly would have won like 100 to 29 if i was there, but i also really miss it. i even miss the hour and a half, hard practices right after school. and by hard i mean lots and lots of running. at least i have my black belt trophy. you know i was a master at karate back in the day.
you may be wondering why the trophy says callie melissa livingston instead of callie morgon livingston, but that is because they got my name wrong not because the trophy is really courtneys and i just photoshopped my name on it and i didnt feel like changing the middle name. not at all (okay mabey i have a lot of spare time).
